Bhoetanese ngultrum

Die ngultrum (Dzongkha: དངུལ་ཀྲམ, IFA: ŋýˈʈúm, simbool: Nu., kode: BTN) is die geldeenheid van Bhoetan. Dit word verdeel in 100 chhertum (Dzongkha: ཕྱེད་ཏམ, IFA: pt͡ɕʰɛ́ˈtám, tot in 1979 op munte gespel "chetrum"). Die ngultrum is tans teen pariteit aan die Indiese roepee vasgepen. Die term "ngultrum" kom van die Dzongkha woord ngul, "silwer", en die Hindi-leenwoord trum, "geld".^[1]
